Our school can receive tax deductible donations to our School Building Fund. These funds can be used to construct and maintain buildings. Your donations will be invested in a bank deposit that attracts the highest possible interest rate until they are identified as being ready to be spent.
The ATO prescribes that a school building fund is to be used solely for providing money for constructing or maintaining our school. It cannot be used for any other purpose.
The fund has been used already to build a storage shed for sporting equipment, excess furniture and grounds maintenance equipment.
The P&C will identify projects that satisfy the ATO requirements and will advise the school community.
